The glitz and glamour of Las Vegas is the next stop for a Morecambe man who flies the flag for Burlesque all over the world.

Neil Kendall has been chosen as Guest Judge of Honour at this year’s Burlesque Hall of Fame Awards in Vegas this weekend– the first man from Europe ever to be asked.

The former Morecambe High School pupil has been a top photographer and promoter of Burlesque events for 20 years. He also ran the Morecambe Variety Festival at the Winter Gardens last year. This event will be returning in 2014 and a fundraising Burlesque Cabaret Ball will be held at the theatre on October 26.

“I am honoured to be representing Morecambe in Las Vegas,” said Neil.

The competition sees over 50 performers from all over the world compete for the title Miss Burlesque Hall of Fame. Neil will also exhibit his photography there.
