A 15-year old boy has been arrested by police on suspicion of a number of sex offences.
The arrest follows an incident on Schola Green Lane in Morecambe on Sunday afternoon at 4pm, when a 10-year-old girl was allegedly dragged into an alleyway before escaping, shaken, but unhurt.
Around the same time and at the same location, police also received a report of a man or boy exposing himself.
As a result of early enquiries, a 15-year-old boy from Morecambe was arrested on suspicion of child abduction and indecent exposure.
A cordon was put in place at the scene whilst the investigation took place.
Police said the 15-year-old boy was questioned on suspicion of:
*Indecent exposure on November 15, 2013 on Westgate;
*Indecent exposure on March 6 on Euston Grove;
*Indecent exposure on Balmoral Road on April 2.
*A 15-year-old boy has been charged with exposure, assault of a girl under 13 by touching and taking a child so as to keep her from a person having lawful control.
He was due to appear before magistrates at Lancaster on Tuesday.
The boy has been bailed by police until June 10 in relation to four counts of indecent exposure.
