Have your say

It’s not often I’ll criticise refereeing decisions, mainly because I know how difficult a job it is and also because it could get me into trouble.

But on Saturday some of the decisions made were very strange to say the least.

Without a doubt Kevin should have had a penalty early on in the game.

Football is a physical, contact sport and I’d never want to see that change.

But a complete shoulder barge to stop a goalscoring opportunity in the box should have no doubt ended in a spot kick for us.

Anywhere else on the pitch and it’s a guaranteed free kick.

And as for the sending off, harsh is an understatement.

If you were to break it down you could argue that Jamie raised his hand but a push in the chest is hardly a form of violent conduct.

But this year we have a lot more strength in depth than previous seasons and have the squad capable of dealing with losing important players.

Even with our poor string of results lately I have no doubt we will turn things around sooner rather than later and get our season back on track.
