Baby reindeer recaptured after escape
Bay View Garden Centre.
A BABY reindeer which escaped from a garden centre at Bolton-le-Sands has been found safe and well.
There were initial reports that the reindeer had run onto the A6 at Carnforth and was bringing traffic to a standstill.
But a staff member at Bay View Garden Centre said the animal had made its way onto the shore at Bolton-le-Sands on Friday morning.
Staff returned it to the centre and although tired, the reindeer was none the worse for wear.
