POLICE need to trace three men after an attempted burglary at a restaurant in Lancaster.

The offence took place at Marco’s Restaurant on North Road at around 1.30am.

Three men approached the rear of the restaurant whilst it was closed and used a dustbin to climb onto the roof.

They then smashed a glass panel on the roof which fell from the ceiling causing further damage to the light sensor.

Fortunately the offenders failed to gain access to the premises.
