Rod Stewart’s original guitarist and an X Factor finalist known for his Rod-style raspy voice have teamed up for a new show at the Grand Theatre in Lancaster.
Cregan & Co, an evening of Rod Stewart’s hit songs, is on Saturday, September 22, at 7.30pm.
Jim Cregan was a mainstay of Rod’s first band after he left the Faces and, from 1976 to 1994, co-wrote the great man’s hits, recorded the albums and toured the world.
Songs like You’re in My Heart, Baby Jane and D’Ya Think I’m Sexy were co-written by Cregan.
He has also worked with the biggest names in the music business, like Art Garfunkel, Ronnie Wood, Ringo Starr and Elton John.
Ben Mills teamed up with Jim and the band in October 2011.
An accomplished singer/songwriter in his own right, Ben came third in The X Factor in 2006, the year Leona Lewis won.
Tickets cost £17 (£15 concessions). They are available by calling 01524 64695 or visit the Grand Theatre box office during opening hours.
