You can have your say on health services in our district at two public events over the next few days.
The events are part of a ‘Better Care Together’ national NHS review and will consider out-of-hospital care such as GP practices, pharmacies and other community services, as well as healthcare in hospital.
Local people will have the opportunity to hear more from leading clinicians about the challenges facing the NHS both nationally and locally, and to discuss possible options for the way that local health and care services could be provided in future.
Participants will be asked for their views about the aspects of health services that are most important to them; to comment on a number of ‘design principles’ that clinicians have developed to use as guidelines when developing services; and to share their thoughts on the possible ‘scenarios’ that are emerging from the current round of clinically led discussions.
The events are this Saturday (March 15) at Lancaster Town Hall, 10am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm to 5pm, and at Morecambe’s Platform venue on Wednesday, March 19 from 2pm to 4pm and 6.30pm to 8pm.
