Affray charge for three men after street brawl

Three men have been charged with affray following a street brawl before which a man was allegedly stabbed in the stomach.

The large-scale disturbance on Sefton Road in Heysham took place around 9.30pm on Thursday, January 31.

Police are appealing to anybody that witnessed the incident to come forward and speak with them on 101.

*Mateusz Pielak, 21, of Yorkshire Street, Morecambe; Grzegorz Pogorzelski, 35, of Devonshire Road, Morecambe and Mireslaw Furtak, 58, of West End Road, Morecambe, appeared before Lancaster Magistrates Court on February 4.

They were remanded in custody until February 18.
