HOW very disrespectful for the editor, Glen Cooper, to ask supporters to write in as regards their retained list. To me that is undermining the players at a time when there are 10 games to go and points to play for.
Players need some respect and encouragement for what has been achieved. Leave the football side to the manager and staff.

What has been achieved by all at MFC is beyond the supporters' wildest dreams. We may have had a few blips along the way but you don't knock the house down because a few slates come off the roof. The players have given their all a very challenging season providing some of the very best football seen at Christie Park and with a little good fortune could well have been in a play-off position.

Having looked at facts and figures, it is amazing how many teams have had blips along the way, also 10 clubs in League Two have had a change of manager, which goes to show how well all the lads have done.

We are still living the dream, very many thanks to the players and staff for all that has been achieved. In an ideal world I would retain the lot to have another go.

Brian Johnson, Westgate
