OVERLOOKING a sunny promenade was the ideal setting for The Visitor's first 'Prom Fair'.
We had a great response to our appeal for young models and selected 19 who looked fantastic in their dresses and suits.
The success of the day was assisted by the great hospitality from our hosts Paul Mitchell and the team at The Headway Hotel.
Exhibitors Chic Hair worked tirelessly making sure every model had fantastic hair for the show, the variation of styles demonstrated the salon teams creativity and understanding of individual needs.
Debs Stuchbury, L&M Newspapers' advertisement director, said: "A huge thank-you must also go to the Deborah Jane Bridal team, Deborah and Victoria who dressed all our models choreographed the show with
assistance from Wendy at O&W Entertainments – who kept the music and offer details going on all day for us.
"There was something for every 2009 'Promenader' at this event from chocolate fountains from Dipalicious, to the finest transportation from Jet Set Limos.
"Even though our Prom Fair 2009 is over, the season is just starting and if you have not got your dress, suit and all the trimmings yet then I have first hand experience of the array of quality goods on sale from our exhibitors, so give them a call.
"One of the male models at the show, Liam Bland, was our 'Win your Prom on us' winner and I am sure his 'motley crew' (actually a grand group of Lads who did us proud as the male models) will help him spend it – I think they had their eye on the Hummer as favoured mode of transport!
"Thanks to every exhibitor and attendee to our show, I am already planning the 2010 event!"
