MORECAMBE went into the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at Chester last night, Tuesday, buoyed with an award for their win at Oldham in the previous round.
The Shrimps penalty shoot-out win at the League One high-flyers meant they were named Ultra Team of the Round for the first round.

The final score was 1-1 but went to the Shrimps after winning 5-4 on penalties with Dave Artell, Diarmuid O'Carroll, Paul Lloyd, Hunter and Andrew Parrish netting from the spot.

Johnstone's sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: "The award is now being sponsored internally by the Johnstone's Ultra range which is designed to provide the highest standard of finish in the fastest possible time.

"Sammy's boys have certainly taken a leaf out of our book when it comes to scoring goals!"
