Shrimps Ressies go for another trophy

PONTIN'S League play-offs pit Morecambe against Man City.
HAVING already picked up their divisional title and the Pontin's League Cup, Morecambe Reserves bid for a hat-trick in their first season at this level.

The Shrimps second string, West Division champions will play their divisional runners-up, Manchester City in the Pontin's League play-off semi final at Christie Park this Wednesday, May 7, kick-off 7pm.

City qualified as best runners up from the three divisions. The winners will play a final against either East winners, Hartlepool or Nottingham Forest who topped the Central Division.

Morecambe took the League Cup with a penalty shoot-out victory over West Brom.
