MORECAMBE could land a bumper £70,000 payday if they beat Carlisle United in their FA Cup replay - thanks to the internet.
Their potential second round clash with Norwich City has been chosen for live streaming on the FA's website.

This would be the first time a Morecambe FA Cup match has been shown live on any kind of media.

So all the Shrimps have to do to take advantage is beat Carlisle in the first round replay at Christie Park on Tuesday.

And if they do, the Norwich game will be moved to a 5.15pm kick-off on Saturday, November 28.

Rod Taylor, chief executive at Morecambe, described it as "a fabulous opportunity".

Following the demise of Setanta Sports, the FA has agreed a short-term deal to show the first two rounds of the FA Cup on ITV or streamed live.

The match will be streamed live and free at www.thefa.com
