A MOTHER-OF-FIVE is counting the cost of a dodgy boob job after surgeons left her disfigured.
Lisa Shaw, 35, from Morecambe travelled to Tunisia in February to boost her 34A boobs to a 34D - but she told a national newspaper: "Bargain-basement surgery cost me my looks. My breasts met in the middle."

The surgery in the north African country was £1,500 cheaper than the same procedure would have cost in Britain – but Lisa has since paid £5,000 for reconstructive surgery in this country.

Lisa had surgery to get her figure back after having her children but has warned women considering cosmetic surgery to have it in Britain.

"My boobs looked like shrivelled balloons," she said. "A cheap deal overseas was too hard to resist.

"I thought I was making a massive saving but I wish I'd waited until the recession was over and saved up for an op here."

The number of women suffering at the hands of surgeons overseas has rocketed this year.

Health watchdogs receive three complaints a week from women – often after their implants burst.
