MORECAMBE'S TV and movie stunt performer has scooped a top award recognising his work as a danger man of the silver and small screen.
Martin Shenton and his team at Regent Park Studios in Morecambe have been named Crew of the Month for July by Northwest Vision and Media, which works on behalf of the TV, film, radio and digital content industries to grow a world-class media economy in the North West.

The 42-year-old, who also runs Morecambe's stunt school from his studios on Regent Road, has 16 years' experience in the trade.

"I'm over the moon about being recognised for my work," said Martin. "It's so behind-the-scenes that it often gets overlooked but it's vital that stunt work is done well, and safely."
