A TEENAGE milkman from Morecambe got the shock of his life when he came across a murder scene while out on his round.
Mike Fort witnessed the dreadful sight of mum-of-two Tracy Dryden lying by the side of the road on Schoolhouse Lane in Halton, just moments after she had been stabbed in the chest.

Mike, 19, did his best to help as Mrs Dryden lay dying by the pavement.
"It was a nightmare," Mike told The Visitor.

Mike's van was flagged down by another woman, who was desperately trying to revive Mrs Dryden.

"She waved me over," he said. "I thought she was a milk customer at first.

"I pulled over and walked right past this guy who was sitting down.

"Another guy shouted out of a window: 'Don't go near him, he's got a knife'.

"I stopped to assess the situation. I was planning on running, hoping the woman would follow. But (the man in the road) looked pretty calm.

"(The woman who was helping) knew first aid. She said to me, this woman's dying."

See this week's Visitor for the full story.
