AN apprentice chef from Carnforth has survived 'Hell's Kitchen' with tough-nut TV chef Marco Pierre White.
Martin Foster joined 14 others from across the country at a masterclass with the star at his London restaurant, Wheelers.

Martin, an apprentice from Lakeland's First Floor Cafe in Winder-mere, joined the other budding chefs in the kitchen at Wheelers learning how to prepare a range of dishes from the restaurant's a la carte menu.

Throughout the morning, Marco gave an insight into his experience as an apprentice, advising the youngsters on how to enhance their prospects.

Martin said: "It's been a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes at a top restaurant.

"An unforgettable experience which has further fuelled my passion for cheffing."
