A HUGE clamour for tickets is expected for the last ever Morecambe FC league game at Christie Park.
Just under 5,000 tickets will be available to home supporters for the historic match which club officials expect will be a sell-out.
And because of the expected high level of interest, the club board has decided to pre-sell tickets to all home areas of the ground for a league game for the first time ever.
A club spokesman said: "The board has taken this unprecedented step to ensure that loyal and regular supporters are guaranteed admission on the day by buying their tickets in advance."
Tickets will go on sale from the club ticket office for the Saturday, May 8 game against Aldershot (kick-off 3pm) this Saturday (March 13) to season ticket holders only, when they can purchase two additional match tickets if they wish.
Tickets for the Aldershot match will then go on general sale from the ticket office on Monday, March 22 from 10am on a first come, first served basis.
