POLICE believe two men may be responsible for assaults on four people in Morecambe.
In the first incident, during the early hours of April 12, two oil rig workers from Scotland back on shore were on a night out in Morecambe when they were set upon on Marine Road West.

In the vicious and unprovoked attack, one of the men was badly
hurt and the other was assaulted while trying to help his friend.

In the second incident at the junction of Albert Road and Claremont Road on April 25, a couple were waiting for a taxi when two men walked past them and made a comment.

When the man replied the pair came back and repeatedly kicked him in the face.

The woman was punched to the ground while trying to protect her partner.
The man received serious facial injuries in the vicious attack.

In both cases the attackers were described as white males, early 20s, 5ft-10ins, with local accents, and both with short dark brown hair. In the first attack, one of them was wearing a brown and white hooded jacket and dark jeans, while the other wore a dark hooded jacket and dark jeans.

Only appropriate in certain crime-spot areas
