Man injured in machete attack

A MAN was slashed with a machete on Euston Road but escaped with only minor injuries.
Police were called around 9.30pm last night after reports an injured man was standing outside Euston Road Fisheries.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on nearby King Street on suspicion of wounding with intent and GBH.

An area of Euston Road was cordoned off whilst the incident was underway.

Police said they have still not recovered the weapon involved in the attack.
