A HOLLYWOOD super star is set to perform at Morecambe library with her new band.
Juliette Lewis, star of Natural Born Killers and Cape Fear, will be
performing with The Licks on July 13.

She has appeared in numerous movies including Starsky and Hutch, Cold Creek Manor, From Dusk Till Dawn and Kalifornia, with actors such as Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, Woody Harrelson and George Clooney.

She has also made numerous television appearances and has written soundtracks for a number of films.

Juliette had her first TV role at the age of 12. Her group, Juliette and The Licks, has released a number of songs. In 2006, Blender magazine put her on their list of the hottest women in rock.

She has appeared in the music videos of 'Spitfire', 'Get up Get Off', and 'Hot Ride', all tracks on the Prodigy's 2004 album 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned.'

Her most recent film is The Baster, which is due for release in 2010.
The show at Morecambe Library has evolved from months of discussion and negotiation and is part of the award-winning Get It Loud in libraries project, which has already secured gigs at Lancaster Library by The Thrills, The Wombats and Adele, who have already performed.

In another major coup, British Sea Power will be performing at Morecambe Library on August 7.

Juliette will be fitting the gig in specially between summer festivals across Europe.

Tickets are £10 and will be on sale soon from www.seetickets.com and from More-cambe Library on 01524 415215 at the end of the week.

Doors open at 7.45pm.
