Amber's owner has been desperately looking for her since April 15.
Jackie Callow said: "As you can image by now I am frantic that there has been no news of Amber. First and foremost she is a much loved family pet and her whereabouts are causing concern now.
"Amber was bred by a well known show kennel in the Midl
ands. She is three-years old and in her prime, her dark chocolate coat looks beautiful.
"She was booked into Championship Shows Dog Shows this month as she was looking so lovely. When she came into season it was decided to mate her to a Scottish dog even though it was a long way to travel the stud dog's owner Mrs Anne McKay was very accommodating and agreed to meet me at Lancaster.
"She would then take her home for the week and to bring her back to the Championship Show Dog Show at Stafford on April 19.
"On Tuesday April 15 all went to plan, I met Anne and her two children (who where on school holidays) at Lancaster railway station, Amber went off with Anne and was put in the back of her estate car.
"They decided to stop for a bite to eat at lunch-time and went to Morecambe. While Anne was in the restaurant her daughter unfortunately opened the boot of the car and Amber made her escape.
"She was chased all along the beach, the hovercraft was call out to try to push Amber back on land as she was heading for dangerous channels of the beach.
"The dog warden and police all tried to catch her but to no avail. She was so spooked and frightened she carried on running away from them and was last seen by the coast- guard on Tuesday afternoon past Hest Bank heading north along the beach.
"She has not been seen since. As you can imagine I live near Birmingham, Anne in Scotland and Amber is lost in Lancashire so finding her is very difficult.
"I would love to have a happy ending for my story, please help find her."
