THE future of Ethel Austin stores in Lancaster and Morecambe looks uncertain after the company was placed into administration.
Insolvency firm MCR has been appointed to handle the affairs of the Knowsley-based business and sister company Au Naturale, the homeware chain, which has also gone into administration.

The joint administrator Geoff Bouchier, a partner at MCR, said the businesses will continue to trade in the short term.
