A BURGLAR reached through an open window at a house on Owen Road in Lancaster and stole items.
A mobile phone and a purse worth a total of £182 were taken around 8.55am on Tuesday, July 22.
The housekeeper at the property chased the burglar but he escaped on a mountain bike.
He was white, 5ft9, slim build, with short dark brown hair, weari
ng a navy blue cap and a beige jacket.

THIEVES stole ice creams, ice lollies and cans of coke from an ice cream van at Macaris on St Leonardsgate.
They climbed over 8ft metal gates at the ice cream depot and broke into one of the vans via the sliding window.
The goods worth £44 were taken between Tuesday and Wednesday of last week.

THIEVES driving a green Renault Laguna parked up alongside an Audi on Caton Road and smashed the window before fleeing with a laptop.
The Dell Latitude computer worth £300 was taken around 7.45pm on Tuesday, July 22.

A PEUGEOT 106 parked outside the post office in Over Kellet was broken into between Thursday and Friday, July 24 and 25.
A crowbar was used to open the door before a parcel shelf with speakers and a cd player worth a total of £250 were stolen.

AN UNOCCUPIED house on Balmoral Road in Morecambe was broken into between July 22 and 23.
Six electric power tools were taken worth £290.

TWO turquoise and beige plant pots with 18" high miniature conifers in them were stolen from outside a house on Burlington Grove in Morecambe.
The pots worth £60 were taken between 7.30pm and 10.30pm on Thursday, July 24.
