EVER fancied becoming a model the easy way? All you have to do is walk into a city centre clothes shop in Lancaster this week.
Between Thursday and Saturday, D2 Jeans on Cheapside will be holding a modelling competition where customers can come in, try on an item of clothing, and have their photo taken.

The store will then pick five males and five females to take part in a charity fashion show at Lancaster's Cuba Cocktail Bar on May 30.

This event is in aid of the Jake McClure Appeal, which aims to raise money to send an autistic boy to America for treatment.

The fashion show will also feature live music from The Remains.

Admission is £5 and the show starts at 8.30pm.

Please call D2 on 01524 60051 for more information.

What's your view on the use of CCTV?
More the merrier - if you've done nothing wrong, you've nothing to worry about
Only appropriate in certain crime-spot areas
I'd be very worried if we had too many
