A HEYSHAM house is to be featured on national daytime TV today, Wednesday.
The property at Mallowdale Avenue was given a '60 Minute Makeover' for the programme which shows on ITV1 daily at 2pm.

Today the '60 Minute Makeover' team are surprising Susan Faulkner-Wiley.
The arrival of the TV company caused quite a stir when they turned up on the street last autumn, as reported in The Visitor.

A spokesperson for Granada Factual North said: "She has always put everyone first throughout her life. Last year she turned 60 and she decided it was time to retire after 35 years working as an inspiring teacher to children with special needs.

"Her daughter India called in the team to transform her mum's property. India lives down in the south of the UK but as a family unit they are still very close and barely a month goes by without the family travelling up to spend weekends with Susan.

"Susan loves her grandchildren and having them to stay, and it is important to her that they have their own space in the house.
"Susan has tried to put her own style into the house.

"She has travelled the world and loves Indian/Moroccan influences and this is reflected through warm colours she has painted the
house."
