Learn all about zombies, vampires, ghoulies and ghosts at Morecambe Library on Thursday, October 31. A ‘Wannabe a Ghost Hunter Workshop’ runs from 10.30am to noon and is ideal for kids. Tickets cost £2.50 and are available from the library.
Happy Mount Park Cafe will hold its Hallowe’en Fest tomorrow (October 30) from noon to 3pm. There will be all kinds of spooky activities including a children’s entertainer, pumpkin workshop and competition, a make a wish ghoulish lucky dip and a disco. Tickets cost £3 in advance and £3.50 on the door and includes a burger in a bun. Contact the Park Cafe on 01524 401140.
Morecambe tour guide Peter Wade will lead tours of the Winter Gardens on Hallowe’en night (October 31) from 7.30pm and 9.30pm. The walk includes strange tales drawn from the theatre’s past, and stories revealed by more recent paranormal investigations such as those by the tream from TV’s Most Haunted.The tours cost £7 per head (group rates available) and must be booked in advance by calling Peter on 01524 420905.
Scary stories told by a professional actor will be held in the function room at The Borough pub in Dalton Square, Lancaster on Hallowe’en night, October 31.
