You wanted the best, you got the best, it’s the hottest band in the world, KISS!

Or at least, it’s the next best thing.

KISS tribute band ‘Krazy Knightzz’ will return to Morecambe for a Valentine’s night show paying tribute to the monsters of American rock.

The Bath Hotel pub in Morecambe town centre will play host to a night of KISS’ greatest hits from the 70s and 80s, with full make-up, seven inch platform boots and amazing costumes.

One of the most famous rock groups of all time, KISS was formed in 1973 by original members Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

Most of their ‘70s albums, particularly in the period from 1974 to 1977, featured a hard rock or classic heavy metal style. Some of their most famous tracks became rock anthems, including ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You’, ‘God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You’ and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll All Nite’.

Their biggest hit in the UK was ‘Crazy Crazy Nights’ which reached number four in 1987.

KISS concerts were famed for such outrageous acts as Simmons’ incredibly large tongue, him spitting blood or breathing fire and Frehley playing solos Frehley soloing as his guitar burst into flames.

The group was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.

The KISS tribute show is on Saturday, February 14. Admission is free.
