LANCASTER band Hiroshima Twinkie will launch their new album Radio Silence at the Gregson Centre on Moor Lane this Saturday (June 16).

Hiroshima Twinkie’s music is acoustic alternative folk rock music in nature, leaning towards Americana.

The trio, described as “Crosby, Stills and Nash...with teeth”, love Lancaster, the Lune Valley, Morecambe Bay and the surrounding area and draw great inspiration from its rich history, the wonderful people, the diverse music scene and the dazzling scenery.

The gig will feature support from singer/songwriter Daisy B.

Doors open at 8.30pm and admission costs £4.

The Hiroshima Twinkie CD will be available from Atticus Accordians on King Street in Lancaster, the Music Spot shop on Great John Street and via www.hiroshimatwinkie.co.uk
