The cast of a Lancaster panto had a lovely time down on the farm searching for some geese for Mother Goose.
Actors from the Lancaster Footlights’ production popped down to Docker Park Farm at Arkholme to meet some real-life geese.
They included Mother Goose herself, played by Jenny Dunkeld.
The panto starts at the Grand Theatre this Friday (December 6) and as always, will be fun for all the family. In the story, Mother Goose is so poor that she can no longer afford to pay her rent nor to keep any geese on her farm.
Fortunately Priscilla the goose (played by Saul Martin) flies from Gooseland to come and visit her, bringing a gift of some golden eggs. Much hilarity ensues.
Performances run until December 28; evenings 7.30pm, matinees 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £9, £8 concessions, £32.50 for a family. Prices for Christmas Eve and Boxing Day performances are £10/£9.
The box office number is 01524 64695.
