STRIKING photographs taken in Tokyo shortly before the recent tsunami and earthquakes make up an exhibition by Caton photographer Mark Harrison.
In November 2010, four months before the recent disaster, Mark travelled around Japan and Tokyo in particular, taking photographs of people going about their daily lives.
Mark’s travel photography has taken him to 58 countries where he has documented the ordinary and sometimes extraordinary lives of the people there. Tokyo came across as an incredibly safe place and its inhabitants somewhat laid back.
