Fun and funk at Yorkshire House

editorial image

A night of fun and funk is promised on what is becoming a Lancaster musical tradition.

Local band Carpe will be serving up a dish of succulent hip-hop/funk stuffed with blues, rock and soul for the third Christmas running at Lancaster’s Yorkshire House music venue.

This Sunday (December 23) will see Carpe and some of Lancaster’s finest bands getting well and truly festive. Expect sets from fusion foursome Marble Oscar, melodic electro-metallers Stalked By Scarlet and indie-grunge rockers Cry Baby Aeroplanes.

You can also get your hands on Carpe’s new album Risk It All.

Recorded by the band and local engineer Matt Middleton, this album brings together three years of writing and performing.

‘Carpe Cristmas’ starts at 8pm. Admission is £4.
