MORECAMBE’S champion wrestler will mix with the stars of EastEnders this Sunday in London.

Johnny Phere, reigning XWA British Heavyweight Champion, will be a star attraction at the 2012 BritWres-Fest event at The Coronet Theatre, Elephant and Castle.

'The Psychotic Warrior' Johnny Phere from Morecambe

EastEnders stars Tony Discipline and Jacqueline Jossa, who play Tyler Moon and Lauren Branning in the BBC1 soap, will be special VIP guests at the event.

Known as “The Psychotic Warrior”, Phere will act as a “special ringside enforcer” in the main event match.

Top British grappler Doug Williams, a star of TNA Impact on Challenge TV, will also appear.

Morecambe-based wrestling company the XWA will also be represented by “RockStar” Spud and “Bollywood Dream” RJ Singh.

The free show, billed as “Britain’s answer to WrestleMania”, is being held to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

The Visitor’s own Greg Lambert will provide ringside commentary at the show.
