Britain’s newest TV wrestling superstar will teach the next generation of grapplers in Morecambe – in his final UK appearance before jetting off to the United States.

Challenge TV viewers saw Rockstar Spud earn a spot with American wrestling company TNA by winning televised ‘reality show’ British Boot Camp in January.

Grapple icon Hulk Hogan picked Spud ahead of three rivals from the UK. Now fresh off a British tour which saw him wrestle at the Manchester Arena and Wembley Arena, Rockstar Spud will return one last time to Morecambe, where he won the British Heavyweight Title at The Dome in 2009.

The Rockstar, real name James Curtin, will host a special training seminar where he will give advice to young wrestlers to help them follow in his footsteps and make it big in America.

The two-hour seminar is part of a full wrestling training day at Regent Park Studios, Regent Road, on Sunday, February 24 from noon to 5pm.

The cost of the training day is £25, payable on the day, and is for all experience levels.
