Phoenix Nights favourite Archie Kelly will headline the first anniversary night for the Morecambe Comedy Club on Friday, August 30.
Famed for his role as Kenny Senior in Peter Kay’s cult sitcom, Archie began as a singer at the Ritz in Manchester and the Grafton Rooms in Liverpool.
He then turned his hand to comedy at such clubs as The Comedy Store in Manchester.
Archie will be supported by Bill Wooland.
Morecambe Comedy Club nights are at the Queens on Morecambe promenade on the last Friday of every month.
Tickets cost £6 in advance and £7 on the door, available from the venue.
