Dance show is a surefire hit

PUPILS at Our Ladies Catholic College are holding their tenth dance show this week.

Ryan McClintock, OLCC Stage Manager and School Council Vice Chair, said: “We are aiming to make our tenth show a special one.

“The shows have progressed further and further throughout the years with cast numbers increasing, more and more technical skills being gained by our technical team, our choreographers become more advanced, and the backstage team being more organised than ever before.

“The shows at OLCC have always had a high standard, with positive reviews off members of the public, governors, and even the mayor (who will be present on Thursday’s dance show).

“The shows are thoroughly prepared for with up to seven months of rehearsals, with constant energy and enthusiasm from all our dancers, choreographers, and everybody else involved with the show.

“It proves more and more stressful every year, but the shows are always worth it!”

Tickets are now on sale at the school, priced £3 concession and £5 adults.

The shows are on Wednesday, March 28, Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30.

Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 7.30pm.
