Book Club: Children can win a book

Here’s another chance for your children to enter our first Book Club competition for younger readers.

We’ve got five copies to give away of a delightful children’s story by Marilyn Edwards who lives at Hutton Roof, near Kirkby Lonsdale.

The winners will also get their copy of ‘Magnificat’ personally signed by the author.

This great children’s story tells of the relationship between homeless and hungry Magnificat, and a boy called Ben.

The book has won praise from famous children’s author and Tracy Beaker creator, Jacqueline Wilson, who described it as “a real pageturner and totally heart-warming.”

All your children need to do to be in with a chance of winning a copy of this book is tell us which is their favourite animal and why in no more than 50 words.

Get them to send their entries in an envelope to Magnificat Competition, c/o Debbie Butler, The Visitor, Victoria Street, Morecambe, Lancashire LA4 4AG.
