One of Lancaster’s best kept secrets will play host to some of the area’s best acoustic talents.

Forrest Hills golf and country club at Ellel will house the ‘Lancaster Lake Acoustic Sessions’ this Sunday (August 18) from noon until late.

The venue at Forrest Hills is set in a leafy location near Lancaster University and is gaining a reputation for live music.

The line up for the day is as follows:

Noon - Anne Spedding

12.20pm - Faye Marie

1pm - Caz Latham

1.45pm - Jay Blackburn

2.30pm - Fiona Ford and Gerard McDonald

3.15pm - Kim Seymour

4pm - Daisy Barlow

4.30pm - Imogen Rae

5.15pm - Joe Bird

5.45pm - Molly Warburton and Shady Days

Imogen Rae is better known as Imogen Mechie, who was runner up in the Young Songwriter of the Year competition for her tune ‘Build My Wings’ in 2010. Imogen is a regular on the local festival circuit and has appeared at the recent monthly ‘Jazz Mansion’ events at Forrest Hills.

Jay Blackburn is also known as front man with The Remedy Project who recently performed at the popular Later With Jools Netherland night at The Platform.

Molly Warburton and Shady Days (Luke Wilding and Liam Maxwell) are a talented alternative trio whose influences include Mumford & Sons, KT Tunstall, Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin. They have appeared at Kendal Calling and Glastonbrewery at Lancaster Leisure Park.
