I FIRST fell in love with Morecambe when at the age of seven in 1970 my parents, younger brother and I came to live in Morecambe.
I attended Morecambe Bay County Primary School and later Heysham High School where I was very happy.

My younger sister was born at the Queen Victoria Hospital and I have such happy memories spending time on the beach and at Happy Mount Park.

I now live 10 miles away but spend a lot of time in Morecambe. I love the views across the bay and the regeneration work on the Midland Hotel and the new shops etc, makes me so proud that the town is returning to its former glory. I would love to see the return of the illuminations one day!
