A WESTGATE man is preparing for the game of his life at Wembley next month.
Allan Jackson will line up for Kirkham and Wesham in the FA Vase final on May 11.

Jackson, 28, has come through the Lancaster youth football system and played for Caton, Lansil and Squires.

Now in his fifth season at Kirkham, Jackson, who lives in Westgate, has the chance to fulfil every footballers' ambition of playing on the hallowed turf.

He said: "I can't wait to walk out at Wembley. It's a boyhood dream. Iwas lucky enough to play at Goodison Park when I was 18 and didn't think it would get better than that.
"We'll be training at Bisham Abbey as well, which will be an experience to savour."

* TICKETS for a coach to the final are available for £50 or £40 for children. The price includes coach travel to Wembley and a match ticket. To book, call Mick Hoyle on 07860 688104.
