Another wet Saturday brought the total of cancelled games in this season's Lancaster Honda North Lancashire Football League to more than 180.
Five games did take place and Storeys Reserves are still unbeaten into March after beating Morecambe Royals Reserves 2-0.
Storeys played the better football and moved up to second in the table, just three points behind leaders Bentham with three games in hand.
Once Simon Diamond had given Storeys the lead, it always looked as though they would win the game, James Ainsworth made sure of a good win with Storeys' second goal.
In Division Two again just one game was played with Arnside taking on bottom club Torrisholme Reserves.
Torrisholme started well but but after weathering the storm, Arnside went on to get on top without completely dominating.
Torrisholme, with Callum Crooks scoring twice, played well but still lost 4-2 with Arnside on target through Chris Kelly (2), veteran James Bland and Mark Rogerson, adding to his impressive tally.
In Division Three, both the Accrington Trophy Centre/ Parkinson Collegian Cup semi-finals went ahead.
Allithwaite Rangers, from the lower end of the division, upset the odds by beating third-placed Galgate Reserves in a hectic end-to-end game.
As the game wore on the pitch got heavier and heavier but was still playable and both defences were under considerable pressure.
The first 90 minutes ended 3-3 with Andrew Paisley, a terrific Trevor Rawlinson strike and veteran Brad Thompson scoring for Allithwaite. Galgate replied with goals by Adrian Calvert, the goal of the game by Lee Stewart and Chris Haslam.
With both sides tiring neither side could muster a clear cut chance in extra-time so penalties were needed, Rangers winning 3-2.
The game was excellently controlled by first year referee Ryan Gregory.
Allithwaite will meet Bolton-le-Sands Reserves in the final on Monday, March 17 after they beat Arnside Reserves 6-1.
A Mark Smith penalty put Bolton-le-Sands on their way and he soon added a second before prolific teenager Nicholas Pidcock fired in number three.
It was 4-0 at half-time through Darren Postlethwaite before Pidcock's mishit cross made it 5-0 after the break.
Arnside battled on and deserved their goal when James Barr scored but Daniel Cragg had the last say with Bolton-le-Sands' sixth with Daniel Cragg getting the goal.
In the only League game played, Gregson lost 4-3 to struggling Grange Reserves.
