In the Adam and Gaskell Senior Challenge Cup quarter-final, Storeys set up a semi-final with Ingleton after beating Swarthmoor Social Club 2-1.
A depleted Storeys side went in front through Tom Gammon. Swarthmoor had most of the play but could not break down the Storeys defence.

The match was more a battle of wills than skills as both sides fought hard but did not entertain. A goal from
Christian Naglow sealed the win for Storeys, Mike Bradley scored for the visitors.

In the Premier Division, TIC Dynamos failed to knock Carnforth Rangers off the top of the table as they could only draw with Ingleton.

Ingleton took a deserved lead when Curtis Wood scored. They raced into a 3-1 lead with some exciting and confident football with just 10 minutes on the clock.

Sam Hargeaves and Steve Backhouse got the goals, Lee Rendall having replied for TIC Dynamos.

However, the Ingleton defence lost their discipline allowing Rendall to score his second and in the last few minutes Mark Wiggins equalised.

Galgate travelled to Cartmel with six Premier Division debutantes. The more experienced Cartmel side started off much stonger but the tenacity of the inexperienced Galgate side kept them in it.

Both sides struggled to create chances as the first half ended in a stalemate.

The second half saw Cartmel again as the better side but young keeper Kieron Doyle kept them out with a fine display.

With less than five minutes remaining, Galgate got their break when Steve McMinn scored the winner.

A potential relegation six-pointer at Caton United ended 3-3 with Slyne-with-Hest (LCC) earning a point.

The game was short of skill but had plenty of endeavour from both sides.

Caton took the lead when Lee Beniston scored against his old club but just before half-time, Slyne equalised with a Jamie Durnam goal.

The second half saw the home side regain the lead through goals from Jimmy Bargh and Steve Oliver.

But with 20 minutes remaining, Slyne got back in the game after a brace from Grant Perkins.

Kirkby Lonsdale found their form against lowly Torrisholme FC turning on the style to win 6-1. Man-of-the-match was Jassa Bojang who scored an immaculate hat trick.

Torrisholme consolation was scored by Luke Suligouski.

There was a stiff test for championship hopefuls Marsh United when they entertained a very good Highgrove side.

Marsh United started much the better side and took the lead through Dave Shorrocks.

Highgrove equalised when Luke Ogley scored from the penalty spot with ease. They took then lead when the energetic Craig Holme scored a good goal.

The momentum shifted in the second half when Marsh raised the tempo. It was no surprise when they equalised through Lee Marshall, and went onto win after goals from Lee Sparks, Guy Green and another for Simon Marshall.

Myerscough scored an even easier second as he tapped the ball in from inches to give his side the win.

Burton Thistle and Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves drew 2-2, the point doing no good for either side in their relgation battle.

Caton United Reserves heaped the misery on Torrisholme Reserves with a 2-1 victory. A late goal from Andy Kehoe proved to be the difference between the sides.
