City reveal busy friendly programme

LANCASTER City fans have a host of home matches to look forward to during pre-season.
These will include games against local rivals Kendal Town, Barrow and Fleetwood as well as Blackburn Rovers, Leigh RMI and Peel FC, from the Isle of Man.

Barrie Stimpson will also take his side to Kidsgrove Athletic, who are managed by ex-City boss Peter Ward.

Pre-season training begins at Giant Axe on July 8, 6.45pm for 7pm and every Tuesday and Thursday after that.

* CITY are looking for a commercial manager to replace Dave Horner.

Club secretary Barry Newsham said: "The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave for his commitment to City which has enhanced the club going forward. We wish him all the best for the future."
