TWILIGHT is an enchanting film which has turned regular movie going people into vampire obsessed, Edward Cullen loving freaks – it is no longer a film or a collection of books, it is a cult.
As soon as you walk into the cinema you can feel the excitement in the atmosphere and it is clear that you are either Team Edward or Team Jacob.

Before the film starts the audience cheer in anticipation as they realise that finally after a year of waiting New Moon is here. Twilight: New Moon is the second of four films in the Twilight saga.

The films are based on the novels by Stefanie Meyer and the first one released last year has catapulted young starlets, Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart into a world of obsession and fame.

The Twilight films are about a secret underworld of vampires and werewolves which live among us without anyone knowing.

Bella (Kristin Stewart), who is human, has had the unfortunate problem of falling in love with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), who is a vampire.

The twist within Twilight is that Edward and his family have sworn to only feed on animals and peacefully coexist in the presence of humans, constantly surrounded by temptation they are able to control themselves.

However there are other vampires out there who do not share their fondness for a normal life and these are the ones that they come to battle with. With a much bigger budget than the first Twilight film you are able to admire the lengths that director Chris Weitz has gone to in ensuring that this film does not falter away from the wonders of the book.

The film is fast paced, full of action and has just the right amount of romance in it.

It is no longer a film about lust, it is a film about need, about survival and about soul mates.

* THE lucky winners of The Visitor's recent Twilight film competition were Donna Kirkham from Morecambe, Christine Grey from Carnforth, Wendy Hadfield from Morecambe, Pamela Bowker from Heysham and Rachael Bell from Torrisholme.

Our winners received a pair of tickets to see New Moon at Vue Cinema, Lancaster, as well as a Twilight poster.

The Vue Cinema? An "Atmosphere"? Yeah, like Tescos does.
