THINGS will be marvellous when the man who co-wrote 'Three Lions' performs in Lancaster next month.
Ian Broudie of The Lightning Seeds will appear at Lancaster Library on December 5.
Scouser Ian has written some classic tunes over the years, including the legendary England 1996 football anthem with David Baddiel and Frank Skinner.
With The Lightning Seeds, Broudie enjoyed chart success with singles like 'Pure', 'Life of Riley', 'Marvellous' and 'Sugar Coated Iceberg'.
Ian is touring the UK with James Walsh, lead singer of Starsailor, who had hits with 'Alcoholic', 'Silence Is Easy' and 'Four to the Floor'.
They will perform on Saturday, December 5 as part of the acclaimed Get It Loud In Libraries scheme.
Another gig at the library the following night (December 6) will see performances from hot up-and-coming bands Hadouken and Soft Toy Emergency.
Tickets for the all-ages Ian Broudie and James Walsh show, priced £16, are on sale now at www.seetickets.com and www.lancashiretickets.com, and from the library itself.
Doors open at 7.45pm.
