SWEATY 'tops-off' hugs from hunky boys is in the offing at Lancaster's Yorkshire House on Bank Holiday Monday (May 5) when Leeds band Pulled Apart By Horses perform live.
Invited back to the city by Lancaster's own The Adventures of Loki, the trio will perform live on the night, and promise free cuddles to all gig-goers.

Also featuring music from fellow Leeds band This Et Al and Loki themselves, the night starts at 8.30pm and entry is a mere fiver.

Brigit, guitarist in Loki, says "Leeds has been like a second home to us in terms of playing gigs and that.

"We always like to invite our hosts over for some Lancastrian gig-foolery"

Members of Pulled Apart By Horses are behind successful label On The Bone records, who are due to release This Et Al's new EP on April 28.

The band, who in their own words play "back door scuzz rage pop" encourage gig-goers in Lancaster to get along to the Yorkie for a barmy concoction of "live endurance, sweat, piles of drama, good looking hunks, stylish hair cuts and tops-off cuddles from sweaty boys". Oo-er.

Frontman, James Brown says: "We've played Lancaster a few times and Yorkshire House is one of my favourite gig haunts in the country so I'm well looking forward to the show. Such nice folk them Lancastrians."

Loki are one of the most explosive and exhilarating live bands I've come across. So blooming good. Hell of a band.

Plus I fancy Steve!

Rob Lee adds: "The Yorkshire House is a great venue with ace sound. But we love playing anywhere. We'd play a sexual health clinic if there was a PA."

"Oh, and the soundman (the Yorkie's own Kev Baxter) looks like Scott Ian from Anthrax" quips Lee Vincent.
