THE Grand Theatre audience will be asking for more next year when the musical 'Oliver' comes to Lancaster.
Now the Lancaster Red Rose Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society is offering youngsters in Morecambe, Lancaster and surrounding areas an exciting opportunity to be part of the cast.
The show, which will be the society's 75th, is scheduled to take place at the Grand Theatre, Lancaster from Monday March 8 to Saturday March 13, 2010.
Lancaster Red Rose AODS are now looking for budding 'workhouse recruits' to become part of Fagin's gang.
The society is searching for boys and girls between the ages of nine and 14 years to audition for the parts of Oliver, Artful Dodger and be in Fagin's Gang.
The auditions will take place at High Street United Reform Church, Lancaster at 7pm this Monday (June 29). Anyone who is successful will be required to attend a second audition at Bowerham United Reform Church, Bowerham Road, Lancaster at 7pm on Thursday, July 2.
