ASH, The Zutons, The Streets, Idlewild and Goldie Lookin' Chain are amongst the headliners at this year's Kendal Calling festival at Deer Park from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2.
The Streets – aka Mike Skinner, one of Britain's top rap acts - will join Welsh scallywags Goldie Lookin' Chain, Middleman and Riot Jazz on Friday night's main stage.

Saturday night sees top Liverpool band The Zutons (of 'Valerie' fame) join fame industry-tipped bands for 2009 Twisted Wheel, Nine Black Alps and Red Light Company as well as Sunshine Underground and The Travelling Band.

Northern Irish indie act Ash, famed for their chart hits 'Girl From Mars', 'Oh Yeah' and 'Shining Light', will headline the festival's main stage on the Sunday night, following Scottish rockers Idlewild.
Both bands are currently recording and rumoured to be releasing new work soon.

And turntable dons Stanton Warriors will headline Saturday's Traffic Dance Tent.

The New Music stage will be taken over by a different host each night and feature some of the freshest talent in the UK.

The Comedy Stage will see its fair share of music too, with musical comedy from Duncan Oakley and Ruth Cockburn, plus Dan Nightingale, Matt Seber, Andy Rannard, and Chris Roche.

Organisers are also delighted to confirm that SNO!zone will be bringing around 50-tonnes of snow to create a toboggan run and Snowbeach at this year's Kendal Calling, providing somewhere festival-goers can chill-out, whilst supping ice-cold drinks!

Co-founder and organiser, Ben Robinson, said: "We've been beavering away for a long time to make sure we had a collection of acts that can truly bring the Deer Park to life."
