POPULAR summer festival Kendal Calling will take some of its acts from the Lakes across the UK as part of a special tour to promote the event.
Only into its third year, Kendal Calling is staged by two of the youngest licensed promoters in the country and will visit Leeds, Manchester and London on the tour as well as a hometown show in Kendal this Saturday (May 10).

Kendal Calling is testament to pure DIY. From a sparsely-populated county, rural in the most isolated sense of the word, has grown a festival worthy of national recognition and the organisers have decided to call out a little louder with these dates.
As for the acts on tour, the Seven Seals pull no punches when it comes to a live performance their angular post-punk garage hits like a hammer blow to the head, leaving you twitching for more.
The rock and electronic fused beats of Deathretro hit home like a machine gun volley, getting even those who have ducked for cover up and dancing.
Not just content with creating a unique and powerful sound and live show bass player Boone is also the co-founder and organiser of the festival.
The tour dates are all free entry and kick off at Kendal's Ye Olde Fleece Inn on Saturday, May 10 with Seven Seals, Deathretro, the Witch and the Robot, Mr and Mrs and the Dead Letters.
Music will start at 7pm.
