A FORMER Morecambe High School pupil will make a 'Slight Return' to the area next month as promoter of one of the 90s' biggest British indie bands.
Sean Crossey is co-promoter of Manchester-based Electric Circus, who once looked after The Sex Pistols, The Clash and Joy Division, and will soon be bringing The Bluetones to the Sugarhouse in Lancaster.
After leaving Morecambe, Sean worked as a buyer for HMV and other record stores in and around Manchester.
He also put on his own gigs in the city with another Morecambe lad, Marcus Gosling.
Sean then became a talent scout for industry marketing label White, before joining forces with Allan Robinson, owner of Electric Circus.
After promoting sell-out shows in December for The Bluetones including Manchester Academy and London Astoria, Sean will now promote the band's gig in Lancaster on Sunday, March 8.
Expect all their hits including the 1996 number two smash 'Slight Return' and tracks from new album 'Expecting to Fly'.
